Recently the Scouts attended an OUTDOOR CHALLENGE  day, where they learnt to Kayak and to Absiel.  They were tutored by pupils from Aoraki polytech Outdoor pursuits programme.

We were very lucky with the weather, it was one of the best days of the winter.  The scouts started early with some warm up routines and were then put in to the Kayaks and put through there paces on the river.

As you can see they had alot of fun,  and some of the adults needed a rest in the sunshine.
